Dress Code and House Rules

A strict dress code applies to all visitors to The Royal Bachelors’ Club. Members and reciprocal members are responsible for informing their guests. The staff will be happy to answer any questions.

For gentlemen, jacket and tie or bow tie is required. Jeans, boots or trainer shoes are not permitted. Ties and a few other items are offered on loan in the cloakroom.

Ladies’ attire should match the requirements for gentlemen.

Children/youngsters under the age of 15 should be neatly dressed.

Visitors who do not adhere to the dress code will be denied entry.

Accompanying guests are welcome but they are not allowed to use the members’ tables or the Broström Room. The same applies to the Library and Billiard Room during lunchtime. All guests should register, a visitors book is provided in the cloakroom.

A fixed fee for each accompanying guest is added to the final account. All bills should be paid in full before leaving the clubhouse. Gratuities or tips should be avoided, except for accompanying guests as a voluntary gesture. However, members are strongly encouraged to contribute to the annual staff fund during the month of December.

No photography whatsoever is permitted, at any time. During events there may be a designated photographer, assigned by the Club.

Mobile phone calls are only permitted in the meeting rooms and adjacent to the cloakroom. All other use of phones, such as texting, should be restricted to a minimum.
